SRG SSR

The Federal Parliament Production Centre generates the daily reporting from the Swiss capital Bern for all the radio and television programmes of SRG SSR. Modern television and radio studios with the latest equipment provide the journalists and regional correspondents working for the SRG’s seven business units with the infrastructure they need.

Politics provide content

Federal and domestic politics are at the heart of our reporting. Furthermore, our regional correspondents provide coverage of the Bernese Oberland and the cantons of Fribourg and Valais.

Parliament

The Federal Parliament Production Centre records all debates in the National Council and the Council of States. The recordings can be followed live when Parliament is in session (www.parlament.ch). The press conferences of the Federal Councilare also recorded (www.tv.admin.ch).

Up to the minute

We produce reports for news programmes and make live programmes. We record the press conferencesof governmental departments, as well as information from parliamentary commissions, political parties and factions. Talk shows on federal politics made by the business units are often produced in Bern.

We are here for you

Furthermore, we are the contact point for public and private television stations, which want to produce in Bern. Our guests include ARD, ZDF, ORF,CNN and ABC, as well as Russian and Indian television. The most faraway customer was a space shuttle with the Swiss astronaut Claude Nicollier on board, with which we did a live link-up while it orbited around the Earth.
